Kevin Bourke, CFP®, ChFC®

Wealth Manager

I grew up with a single mom and very little in the way of financial security. Money was always tight in our house, and I’ve never forgotten what that felt like. Over time, I’ve built a financial life that now looks a lot like the clients I serve. That matters because when I wake up in the morning and check my portfolio, I’m seeing the same markets, risks, and often even the same holdings as my clients.
I believe that shared experience builds real trust.

As the founder of Hello Inheritance™ and Bourke Wealth Management, I’ve worked in the field of financial planning and investment management since 1987. I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and one of the first advisors ever certified in Digital Assets by the New York Institute of Finance and DACFP.

Outside of client work, I’ve taught the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ curriculum at the University of California Santa Barbara, served on the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council, and contributed to outlets like ABC News/KEYT. I’m also the author of Make Your Money Last a Lifetime®, a book that reflects the heart of my work: helping people turn wealth into lasting well-being.

Outside of the office:

With a strong belief in philanthropy, I’ve served on several non-profit boards including the Board of Trustees for Child Abuse Listening Mediation (CALM) and the board of Alpha Resource Center.

I enjoy everything Santa Barbara offers by walking several miles each day, including my walk to and from our headquarters.

My love of travel has taken me to many countries on several continents, but Europe will always hold a special place in my heart.
